If you’ve always dreamed of working in a salon but you’re not quite sure where to start, Bloom Studios is the place for you. We offer an apprenticeship program under April Ethington where you can accumulate a variety of knowledge and expertise in cosmetology without the hassle of starting your own business. You deserve to do what you love, to express yourself through your passion for hair. You deserve to bloom. All of the lovely ladies on our team have grown to become “bloombabes”, or in other words, gorgeous girls that thrive doing what they love, and send your heart pounding with one glance. At Bloom Studios, we believe in making dreams a reality, and we can help with yours by teaching you everything we know. While you are with us, you will be taught everything you need to know about Cosmetology.
Styling: You'll learn blow-drying, washing, rinsing, curling, brushing, ironing, braiding, and rolling. Throughout your apprenticeship, you will learn to create a wide variety of hairstyles using these tools and techniques. You will learn to apply different styles to different situations, and you’ll work with customers to create the look they’ve always wanted.
Coloring: At Bloom Studios, you will learn far more than how to simply color hair. You will learn about color weaving, babylights, ombres, balayages, gray hair coverage, semi- and demi-permanent coloring, Goldwell color lines, and Redken semi lines.
Cutting: During your apprenticeship program, you will be taught about all different kinds of men's cuts, women's cuts, and layers. Through hands-on experience, you will develop skills that college classes and textbooks simply can’t give you, like extensions, customer service, hair care, salon etiquette, the business side of being a hair stylist, and practical/theory side of hair.
